What you will be doing:- Basic background information, questionnaires, tests of general ability, LIE-DETECTION!!
- Study broken down in to 3 stages, each approximately 30 minutes. Plenty of places to take breaks, no need to finish whole study in one sitting, but ideally within one day. The entire session takes less than 2 hours (excluding any breaks).
- Enter into a prize draw where every 1 in 10 participants win £20 / $30 + BONUS PRIZES for best lie detector!
- Participants must be between 18-30 years of age, autistic or non-autistic.
- Participants should either be native English speakers or be extremely fluent speakers of English.
- This online study can only be attempted from a computer – this can be a laptop or a desktop, but NOT a phone or tablet.
- You will need a fast internet connection – your connection should be fast enough that streaming videos on websites like Youtube or Netflix should not encounter any buffering.
- Compatible browsers – Chrome and Firefox.

Ethical approval: This research project has been reviewed and approved by UCL Research and Ethics board. Project ID: 14807/002.
Payments: One in every ten participants will win a voucher of £20 / $30. All payments will be made in amazon (UK or US) vouchers – you will have the option to indicate your preference within the study. If you are one of the lucky winners, we will email you your vouchers. Performance based vouchers are awarded participant age group wise, and will only be sent out once the data collection for he study is complete.
