With a background in IT systems analysis, research participation and co-design, Ellie contributes detailed new insight, ideas and questions for autism research. In particular, Ellie is interested in how neuroscience may be utilised with situational adjustments to facilitate autism inclusion in the workplace and in education.
As an avid runner and rower, Ellie finds exercise helpful for her own autism-related anxiety. This has inspired a further research interest in how better mental health and wellbeing may be facilitated in different ways for autistic adults. Ellie is always happy to learn about other people’s experiences too with respect to autism and social inclusion.
